Ustad Amjad Ali Khan (born 9 October ) is an Indian classical sarod player, best known for his clear and fast ekhara taans.

Taught by his father Haafiz Ali Khan, Amjad Ali Khan was born to the illustrious Bangash lineage rooted in the Senia Bangash School of music.

Ustad Amjad Ali Khan is one of the finest classical musicians in the country.

On 20 April , Massachusetts Governor, Michael Dukakis, honoured him by declaring that day as the ‘Amjad Ali Khan Day’ in Boston, Massachusetts.
